A Roman coastal city frozen beneath volcanic ruin begins to stir again, its long-buried dead awakening beneath the mud as Vesuvius casts its shadow once more.

A young teenager named Nalu and his family live in Hawaii when a volcano erupts, forcing his family to move to a new, land locked state. His ocean lifestyle and friends are left behind in the ruins of what was his tropical home. Nalu and his family ends up in Montana, with his moms friend, and he has to adjust to this new side of life.
