Lucy lives with her abusive drunk father Gajeel's mother blames him for his father's death and beats him to near death every day causing him to not talk at home. Juvia ex boyfriend sends her death threats, most call her weird and makes her not talk because they don't like how they talk. Gray accidentally killed someone and witness his mother kill a person However these people work hard to sneak past their scariness and saved their hearts before they turn black.
