I swear the cover is temporary unless i forget to change it- *+*Summary (?)*+* I started writing this fic at 1am back in 2021, Espresso and Madeleine get kidnapped a lot, nearly die several times, I accidentally gave Madeleine hypersomnia? His mom in this fic is an OC because Cookie Odyssey hadn't come out yet, and she sucks. Things get darker and delve into more of an analysis of character's mental health after she's introduced. I really don't know how else to summarize this, but it's better than the old one. The writing is all old and bad (in comparison to my current writing) but I want to try and wrap this up for those who've stuck around. *+* This is the Wattpad version of the fic. Madeleine is the always smiling knight. He helps out and boasts about his heroic deeds. Everyone knows he's always happy and always willing to help. Espresso is one of the few cookies who doesn't like Madeleine, who made it his goal to befriend the coffee mage. He greets him every morning with a smile. This is a total rewrite to my cookie run fanfic "Be Nice To Me". Years after Earthbread has finally returned to peace, all is well in the Crème Republic and the Vanilla Kingdom. Except for two Cookies. Espresso Cookie has being living in the Vanilla Kingdom since he left the Crème Republic. He spends his days working on experiments and conducting research, keeping mainly to himself with the exception of letting his lab partner - Strawberry Crepe - assist in research and experimentation. He seldom gives thought about his past and the people that are part of it, choosing to leave memory of the war, and the Republic, behind. Madeleine Cookie has continued his life as a protector and model citizen of the Crème Republic. He spends his days training and modeling for the occasional magazine cover. He has fond memories of aiding his comrades in the war and yearns to see them again. When both Cookies awaken from a mysterious dream of a warped version of their past, they make plans to find each other once more to decipher what it may mean. Perhaps Earthbread is in danger once more, perhaps it was simply a coincidence. Or perhaps they were destined to find themselves together once more. I guess we're doing it here ------ Anyways Espresso got a concussion from a terrible result from his experiment, and you guess who found him lying there unconscious Espresso avoided Madeleine for the longest time, and his reputation was never scathed from it, he assumed that if he starts becoming friends with Madeleine, he fears that it would change his reputation But what scares him the most, is that Madeleine might have already taken that first step well, you're gonna have to read to find out what happens next :) ill add to the description once I find out what I'm doing after that-
