Emma Kester is the government’s definition of normal. She lives on the right side of the border, has the right amount of money and the right amount of flaws. None. What no one knows can't hurt them right? And that's exactly what Emma has lived by her whole life; after all, hiding a flaw from her family seemed like the right thing to do when you lived on the faultless side of a broken country. But Emma's obliviousness to the 'apparent' monstrosity of the South side changes as she seeks a cure for her flaw, bumping into a guy with a mysterious background. Although he looks flawless to the eye Emma learns that not everyone is who they seem. The only problem is, can Estefan and Emma put their differences aside and let what's true in their hearts guide them rather than the two rules that divide their societies apart? Forbidden never felt so good.
