Legolas is the equivalent of a 15 year old human, making him around 100. His father, Thranduil, blames his son for the death of his wife (in this story she died in child birth) and beats his son every day in punishment. Aragorn (Estel) was raised by elves in Rivendell, where such cruelty would never be tolerated. He is currently aged 20. When he is sent to Mirkwood as a representative of Lord Elrond, he accidentally discovers the hardships of the prince's life. But will Estel be able to rescue Legolas? And if he does, will the elf ever be able to learn to trust? Aragorn is trying to deal with the truth he has only just learned about his heritage. Can he save Legolas' life and bear the burden of a destiny he doesn't want? Young Aragorn has a nightmare and Elrond comforts him. Aragorn discovers that elves sleep with their eyes open. This is the third story in the Mellon Chronicles.

"It would seem so," the sarcastic reply of the golden haired elf's came. "Now would you mind helping me out?" --- Or in other words, a tale where a certain ranger and elven archer meet in a time of trouble for the kingdom of Mirkwood

Aragorn and Legolas meet for the first time. Aragorn is in his early twenties and nearly gets killed when he ignores his adopted father's good advice. Legolas finds him, but must fight the demons of his past in order to help the young human. This is the sixth story in the Mellon Chronicles.

What happens when Legolas, while traveling with Aragorn, gets taken by a group of humans who are looking for revenge on a certain elven king?

Aragorn meets Legolas on a trip to Rivendell. Later they think they will never meet again. Then the one ring is found, and Elrond summons representatives of elves, dwarfs and men to his council, to build a fellowship. Once again, the ranger from the north and the elven prince go on a journey together. But now, whole Middle-earth lies in the hands of their alliance, and they cannot show what the reunion really means to them. (new story about Aralas, please comment, like and subscribe! :) )

Legolas/Aragorn(Estel) pairing. Slash. Multi-chapter This is a story about life and love and overcoming the obstacles in one's life. Sorry for the lack of dialogue in the first two chapters. Mentions of abuse in the beginning. Plenty of nature and art and humor in the story. Sequel?
