Celestia (like Klaus) has a werewolf side as Esther cheated on Mikael to get pregnant with Celestia, but like Hope did in legacies, she became a vampire. She became the first Tribrid in 1376. Sh reunites with her family accidentally, she arrives in Mystic Falls just before the Mikaelson Ball, she was not invited to this ball, nor does she know that the Mikaelsons are the ones hosting the ball. All Celestia knows is that there is a party - and she loves crashing parties.
