These pieces were written in oceans and forests, in dreamlike train stations and kitchens, in February birthdays and tiny notebooks. They are about rebuilding a life and the grief that always lingers. This collection includes 11 pieces written between late 2025 and early 2026 as well as bonus piece published in 2024.

Short-Story I wrote. Enjoy. ~ Out of all the years, out of all the thoughts, there has never ever been a person like Lily to Evan Pruss. Evan thinks about Lily a lot, perhaps there is an issue but assuredly it wasn't possessive or deranged. Rather it was quite idealistic and innocent. Lily was by far his main muse, however it was much more than one person, it was more so about the circumstances and things from the past that Evan will never experience ever again.

Angela Lanzia loves two people: her sister Serafina and her brother Cesare who she calls Beppo. She hates being the child of a Mafia soldier and her one wish is to get Serafina, Beppo, and herself away from her family and leave their past behind them. Angela finds her sister's lifeless body and knows that now is the time to go on the run. Beppo gives her some names and some papers he has stolen. He makes Angela promise that she will send for him when he turns 18. She promises, not knowing this is the last time she will see her brother. Death follows death in the ugly Mafia way, but little does she realize that there is someone out there who has seen it all before. He knows how she is hurting and if she will let him he will show her that love is possible, even in the midst of so much hurt. She has one thing on her mind, she is going to bring down the DeLucas, her father, and any other Mafiosi that she can. She does not know that love will await her in the most unlikely place from someone whose sole desire is to help her see this through.
