While loudly dictating a sci-fi fanfiction concept about a clumsy alien prince on a Heidelberg park bench, lonely Thai student William is accidentally overheard by Est Supha-a wildly famous Thai superstar and national athlete on the other side of the bushes. Amused, Est posts a photo of William, sending him viral under #TheBenchStory. The journey comes full circle back in Thailand, where Est pulls off a final plot twist by visiting William's quiet hometown.
