During their time together she falls for her team member, Druig. They both hate not being able to use their powers to help human kind stay on the right path, he hates their violence and she hates what they're doing to the planet itself. When Druig leaves the team she feels like he's giving up on them and doesn't follow. Years later when the deviants reappear, the team reunites and that means reuniting with the man she once thought was her soulmate. They'll have to overcome their differences and betrayal to help save the humans and planet they have always loved.

She was never supposed to be needed. The Celestials created Naluma as a last resort; if all else failed, she would be the one to save mankind. Hoping that such a time would never occur, Naluma remained dormient and Lily Shorne was born, living a normal life on Earth with no knowledge of who she actually is or the power she has. There exists an eleventh Eternal of which no being is aware of.
