It's the Summer of 2004. Joel and Clementine have officially been back together for six months. For Joel, it's been the happiest six months of his life. For Clementine, it's the first time she's been able to just be without that gnawing fear that she's too much, not enough, or some awful mix of both. And despite talks of a Lacuna lawsuit making its way around New York, the two of them decided to destroy the tapes together and move forward accordingly. This time, slowly. Or at least, that was the idea... until an unexpected pregnancy threw everything off-axis.
