After the fall of the old capital, New Eridu became the only civilization that managed to thrive in the face of a supernatural disaster known as the "Hollows", dark, disordered dimensions that appear out of thin air, that house dangerous and deadly creatures known as Ethereals. Those who play a key role in suppressing these hollows are granted the title of "Void Hunter" by the mayor of Eridu. Kaisen Namikaze, also known as "The Teleporter", is one of the few individuals who was granted this prestigious title. He, along with his childhood friend, Hoshimi Miyabi, are the only two active Void Hunters of New Eridu, effectively making them the guardians of the city. But when a powerful and dangerous creature that was born during the fall of the old capital reemerges and turns its sight on the city of New Eridu, the two Void Hunters will be forced to confront it in a battle that determines the fate of New Eridu. Being a certified Hollow Raider has its perks, one that Zed wanted to take advantage of. During an expedition, he discovered a map. Filled with curiosity, he took the initiative to go and explore the hidden location. But little did he know, Zed wouldn't see things the same again. New Eridu has heard of the one who calls himself "Kyubi" - a Kitsune Thiren who seemingly appears in the Hollows randomly to save people trapped within them. Tsumugi is a freelance worker, she worked in many jobs for either long, short, or temporary. Right now, she works at a video store called Random Play with her friends, Wise and Belle. But she knew their secret identities, they were the legendary Proxy called Phaethon. She occasionally helps them out in the Hollows, investigate and fight against the Ethereals along the way. She'll even help in rescue missions, mostly rescuing the Cunning Hares. Though she helps both Wise and Belle, she has a goal of her own which involves her fallen family in old Eridu. She too is investigating the Hollows for clues about how her family all perished, leaving her the only survivor

Ben Tennyson has found himself stranded in a new world, in the City of New Eridu. Over the course of over two years, Ben has made quite the name for himself. Anyone that has anything to do with the Hallows, or PubSec, knows who he is. Or, at least his code name: Proteus (Look it up, it is very clever). While Ben has made a name for himself, it led him to working alongside another famous individual is the Proxy business, being Phaethon.
