In a future where disease has been erased but loneliness remains, a new sickness emerges - immersion drift. Young minds vanish into perfect virtual worlds of their own design, refusing to wake to the imperfect one they left behind. Only the Dream Doctors can reach them. Not surgeons. Not therapists. Navigators - trained to walk through another person's reality and bring them home. When one Doctor is called to rescue a seventeen-year-old boy who's been lost for ten months, the mission begins like any other. But inside the boy's dream, he finds something he never expected: a forgotten piece of his own past. A serpent. A sister. A memory that doesn't want to let go. The Dream Doctor is a haunting story from The Periphery - a quiet, psychological journey into the ethics of empathy, the fragility of memory, and the thin line between salvation and surrender.

Life is like a rollercoaster, it has its ups and downs, but it's your choice whether to scream or enjoy the ride... When life's rollercoaster throws you off track, do you scream, or do you hold on tight? For Ira and Rudraksh, the journey is far from smooth: one suffocating under the weight of failure, the other nursing a heart shattered into pieces. Two strangers caught in life's ugliest turns, where every step forward is a fight against invisible battles. This is not a story of being saved by each other, but of learning to live despite the wreckage, of finding the courage to stand when the ground never stops shaking. But if their paths converge-bringing their emotions and differences-will they find solace in each other, or will those very differences pull them apart? ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ GENRES: General Fiction · Literary Fiction · Contemporary · New Adult ⚠️ Disclaimer: This story is a work of imagination, entirely original and fictional. In a bustling city, a university teacher named Matthews struggles with the emotional scars of a past relationship that left him heartbroken. He immerses himself in his work, using education as a refuge from his pain. Each day, he pours his energy into his students, finding solace in their growth but feeling the weight of his emotional scars. Despite his reluctance, he feels a deep connection with a vibrant student named Amethyst, who embodies the carefree spirit he once admired. As their relationship deepens, Amethyst begins to confide in Matthews about her struggles, revealing the loneliness that lies beneath her persona. Matthews, in turn, shares the story of his heartbreak, allowing her to glimpse the man behind the teacher's desk. Their late-night conversations, filled with raw honesty, create a bond neither expected. In a moment of vulnerability, Matthews finds himself falling for Amethyst, awakening feelings he thought were buried forever. Torn between his emotions and the ethics of their teacher-student relationship, he grapples with guilt and fear. Yet, Amy's bright spirit and unwavering support remind him that healing is possible. In the end, "Fragments of Grace" is a tale of rediscovery and transformation. Matthews learns that love can heal even the deepest wounds, while Amy finds strength in vulnerability. Their relationship, though unconventional, becomes a testament to the power of godly love one that nurtures, inspires, and ultimately sets them both free.

This story is dumb, historically and scientifically inaccurate, but it was also written by me between 2014 and 2015 when I was a child. Reposting for legacy purposes. Enjoy the insanity that is classic GSL. ---------------------------------------- Official Sequel to Subject 342. A portion of Professor Justin's journal from 1969. In that year, the General Science facility was rapidly expanding into the territory of the subterranean colony of snaketiles (A snake-like species), leading to unpredicted consequences. (Like all of my stories, this contains transformations, and takes place at General Science Labs.)

Thus it begins! Godless Artists is currently a book I am writing on how the works we create and the progress we make as artists are inherently much more worthwhile than if these works were predetermined or if our talents were gifted by an omniscient overseer. Hopefully this will turn out the way I wish and I can articulate my thesis efficiently.

The story is set in a post-apocalyptic world where a group of survivors are trying to rebuild their society. Genetic engineering becomes a topic of discussion as the survivors debate whether to use the technology to improve their chances of survival or not. The story explores the different perspectives and opinions on the use of genetic engineering, including the ethical and moral implications of playing god with the building blocks of life. It also introduces a bad character, Dr. Alexander, who wants to create superior beings and use genetic engineering as a tool for domination. The community has to confront him, and his followers in order to stop him from implementing his dangerous plans. The story also touches on the role of government, society, religion, and ethics in the debate over genetic engineering. The story ends with the community having made responsible and ethical choices, but aware that the journey is not over and that the next chapter is yet to be written.

I am scouting a sword and magic country as a wyrm and I try to not be killed, to make a lair, eggs and little wyrms and try to not destroy the humans. I promise, it will be not my fault ! Less dialogues and more action.! We are the last of the Earth humans alive and we have finally reached our destination : Terra novae in Proxima Centaurii. We had a "warm" welcome from the god defender of this world and after defeating it with our technology 1500 years more advanced. We are planning to land somewhere and restart a new life. Of course they have empires and this world is of magic and swords. There are supernatural creatures and magic is very powerful here. Magicians are powerful beings and we cannot underestimates them. My intuition, with my augure tells me to be careful here. Most of the people who are in the arch are human children and eggs from wyrms and we have only 500 adults. A small village at the best. The problem is the gods informed the priest of the venue of absolute evil and there are arch mage very powerful. They know of our existence in the sky. They don't know we are peaceful and mostly were are children. Where to go? How to land or transfer? On an island? In the desert? In the Empire? North. Maybe there are demons and monsters??? Dragons? Wyrms? Slavery??? Elf?Orcs? Ok I will go first as explorer and Kent will create the Chaos army to implant our colony.

"Areas of knowledge are most useful in combination with each other." Discuss this claim with reference to two areas of knowledge." ~~~ This collection of short stories was completed by a few friends and myself in response to an assignment in our theory of knowledge class. We were really proud of it and therefore wanted to share. All four of us wrote two stories in different chapters. This is inspired by Haruki Murakami's After the Quake. Enjoy.

The intricacies of life encompass the profound complexity and multifaceted nature of human existence and the world we inhabit. From the intricacies of biology and consciousness to the rich tapestry of diverse species and ecosystems, the interplay of social, cultural, and economic dimensions, and the moral, ethical, and existential dilemmas we face, life is a continuous exploration of interconnected and ever-evolving phenomena. These intricacies touch every facet of our lives, from relationships and well-being to technology, environment, and the ceaseless pursuit of knowledge, making life a profound and ongoing journey of discovery and understanding. Our senses, including sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell, are the primary means through which we perceive and interact with the world. These sensory experiences play a central role in shaping our understanding of life and the intricacies mentioned earlier. For example, our senses enable us to perceive the diversity of life, appreciate the beauty of the natural world, engage in social interactions, savor the flavors of food, and experience the pleasures and challenges of daily existence. Additionally, our sensory perceptions are closely linked to our cognitive and emotional processes, further enriching our understanding of the complexities of life.
