However, in the matter of a day, Ren loses everything-his friends, his family, Doc. He needs to find them, and rebuild a completely new life. Doc always had a tendency to tinker with all the machines in the reality lab-a building dedicated to reality scientists. Doc loved his job, and loved Ren even more, though he could only spend a third of his time at most with Ren cause of his job-being a reality scientist was a full time job. Looking back on it, Jimmy blames the garden for everything that's happened. After all, Deepfrost is a game that prides itself in its own immersive experience . . . in more ways than one. --- Deepfrost is an AU that is a crossover of the games Inscryption (by Daniel Mullins) and Decked Out 2 (by Tango Tek). You don't need to know anything about either of these to enjoy this story. If you don't want spoilers for the level design of Decked Out 2 or the layout of Act 2 and some of the overarching lore of Inscryption, I would consider not reading this fic, or at least leaving it for later :]

Etho's Heart raced in pure fear. He looked at the blood stained the floor. I CANT DIE HERE! the thought raced through his head. The static was so loud it almost drowned out the last dying screams from the corridor. A strange thought came to him then. It was a comforting thought. If I die here, I wont have to live with the regret and the constant fear, of what I have just seen. Though, nothing could have prepared him for what happened next. I am sorry for spelling/grammar mistakes. Writing was never my strongest skill. This will have a lot of blood and gore. Be warned. If you don't like that stuff I recommend you don't read this book. I will try to make it creepy and not cringy but no promises. thx.
