The only two who actually know what she is, boyfriend, Xavier Thorpe and girlfriend, Bianca Barclay. The three got together a year after getting to know each other. But what happens when Wednesday Addams joins the school? "I'm guessing scales are Sirens?" Wednesday asks. "You catch on quickly." Enid says. "The girls in the middle are Bianca Barclay and the one next to her is her girlfriend, Valentina Brock and their boyfriend is Xavier Thorpe, who is over there. It came out as a shock to everyone when all three started to date." "You said that the scales are Sirens but she doesn't have the eyes. What is Valentina?" Wednesday asks. "No one knows except Xavier and Bianca." Enid says. Valentina looks up as if she heard them before she looks over at Xavier who was painting. "The three are the closest to royalty around here." Enid says. "Interesting." Wednesday says sarcastically.

Nevermore Academy is back in session, after quite a bit of legal technicalities and some convincing on behalf of the new principal, Garrison Brandt. Almost all of last year's class is back, which says something about their parents' questionable lack of concern about last year's events. There are some additions, of course, and some of them seem to be caught up in something sinister... more so than the usual, anyway. Take Cassidy Bexley, for example. She arrives and immediately begins making the scariest friends, getting caught in an unfortunate amount of dangerous situations, and discovering very inopportune feelings. No one realizes that there is something much darker than anything they've faced before lurking under the surface. With growing tensions between normies and outcasts, returning enemies, and unforeseen dangers, can Cassidy possibly survive? Will anyone? (Cover art is not mine.
