'Sledgehammer' tells the story of a young marine by the name of Eugene Sledge. Eugene took the nickname of 'Sledgehammer' while serving in the Pacific. This story will explore the hard times, the emotional times and the joyous times of Sledge's serving time in the Pacific. *This story is based of HBO's The Pacific, if you haven't seen it I recommend reading this after as it will contain spoilers*
