He comes from an abusive family who only cares about blood status. Life for Sirius is terrible, and he needs a way out. When James and Sirius meet during their first school year at Hogwarts, the two click instantly and become best friends. Will James be the only way Sirius can escape? This is a story about the life, the death and everything else that came in between of Walburga Irma Black's existence. From life to death, one thing had always been forced into Walburga's mind and that was that their families blood had to remain pure by any means necessary. Follow this forgotten witch throughout her years at Hogwarts and then her adult life and perhaps you'll see that there's more to her than meets the eye. Grant's heart broke in two for the boy he held in his arms. "You shouldn't fear being in your own home." Grant hugged Regulus a bit tighter after spotting the scars on his ankles. -

He didn't blame him of course. It must've been hell living as the only lion in a snake's den. To add to that, the constant torture from Walburga's wand (he never called her mother in his mind). But sometimes he wished that he hadn't declined the offer to run away with Sirius. Afterall, they were brothers. But Regulus has a plan, to bring Voldemort down from inside. And it would've worked too, if his best friend hadn't barged into that cave, with a few...well, time travellers. If there was one thing Regulus hated, it was when his plans suddenly changed. And that's what happens when he's suddenly on the track to defeat Dark Shadows, with his insufferable brother tagging along. Regulus soon learns that some things are meant to happen, and some people are just more that what others expect of them, like him.
