A book where each chapter I give my opinion on the week's shows and standings of popular drum corps. These will not be fully in depth but a my observations. (My favorite corps is Carolina Crown and I hate the Blue Devils) My favorites and dislikes will not heavily influence my pick of show of the week which there will be every week. Octavio's UIL Solo and Ensemble competition goes terribly wrong. *AUTHOR'S NOTE* This is a narrative essay that I had to turn in to my English class. My professor complimented me on it whilst receiving an A, so I am quite proud to share this non-fictional piece with you all.

Takeru Nishikawa had always been an introverted person. He was never really sure what he wanted to do with his life. He loved playing drums and loved listening to electronic music, but he wasn't sure if any of those two things would entail towards his future. Now in high school, he found that his love for music was starting to fester, as it was hard for him to find anyone to share his love for his favorite genre. That would all change when he finally crosses paths with his junior high crush, Reina Kousaka. She was a very talented trumpeter, and through her, Takeru might just be able to overcome his doubts, fully embrace his love for music again, and discover what he wants to gain out of life.

Yuuko Yoshikawa suddenly wakes up on the other side of the gender spectrum, much to the surprise of Natsuki Nakagawa. Intertwined in this absurd (and definitely not) romantic situation, the two friends must navigate through this so-called "curse" to find a way to turn Yuuko back into a girl.

After failing to pass for nationals winning a dud gold, a gloom atmosphere surrounded the road back home. Kumiko accepted the defeat, determined to give her all next year. But for some reason, inside her chest, she didn't felt alright at all.
