Oumae Kumiko and her peers have just won gold at the Kyoto Competition and are now one step closer to entering the nationals. There is just one thing - or rather one person, who cannot escape from Kumiko's mind.

What happens when a mad scientist makes a potion that allows humans to breathe in carbon dioxide and out oxygen? Is this the end to global warming? Alas, the scientist's lab blew up, leaving no trace of the potion.Or was there? Droplets of it had flew across the location, entering some of the people's bodies. April Winds is just a normal girl who really liked band and instruments. April's life changes when she meets Conny Euphs, an aspiring euphonium player who only moved into April's highschool just recently. Read through this story with it's horrible writing, subpar grammer, cheesy writing, and straightness. Set in 2018 (about two years after Kumiko finished her second year in high school), it depicts the Kitauji school band's reunion as musicians, this time as part of a larger orchestra.

Have you ever stuffed up a solo at a concert? Been told you've been playing your instrument wrong despite the fact you've been playing it for eight years? Had a conductor yell in your face because it was meant to be a C SHARP? Talked to your fellow musical geniuses about an instrument you play and then realised they have no idea what a flugelhorn is? I could go on forever. After all, it is a rant book. But that's not the point. Be prepared to laugh the rosin off your bow with some pretty relatable rants about how life as a musician isn't necessarily all smooth gliding. Possibly literally for string players. Especially when doing spicatto. Written by a slightly experienced musician herself, who may or may not know what she's talking about. You'll have to find out for yourself. A book where each chapter I give my opinion on the week's shows and standings of popular drum corps. These will not be fully in depth but a my observations. (My favorite corps is Carolina Crown and I hate the Blue Devils) My favorites and dislikes will not heavily influence my pick of show of the week which there will be every week. Hopefully I will not repeat throughout the season sorry if I do.
