Have you ever stuffed up a solo at a concert? Been told you've been playing your instrument wrong despite the fact you've been playing it for eight years? Had a conductor yell in your face because it was meant to be a C SHARP? Talked to your fellow musical geniuses about an instrument you play and then realised they have no idea what a flugelhorn is? I could go on forever. After all, it is a rant book. But that's not the point. Be prepared to laugh the rosin off your bow with some pretty relatable rants about how life as a musician isn't necessarily all smooth gliding. Possibly literally for string players. Especially when doing spicatto. Written by a slightly experienced musician herself, who may or may not know what she's talking about. You'll have to find out for yourself. I don't know how they met, but I don't really think anybody else knows either. They've just been together for, I guess... always? Like, the Earth or the Sun or Mr. Allhei. Other than them, George and Prosper are the closest two bandgeeks you'll find.

The Music life is just about my band experience from when I started in 6th grade to now my senior year in high school.

Takeru Nishikawa had always been an introverted person. He was never really sure what he wanted to do with his life. He loved playing drums and loved listening to electronic music, but he wasn't sure if any of those two things would entail towards his future. Now in high school, he found that his love for music was starting to fester, as it was hard for him to find anyone to share his love for his favorite genre. That would all change when he finally crosses paths with his junior high crush, Reina Kousaka. She was a very talented trumpeter, and through her, Takeru might just be able to overcome his doubts, fully embrace his love for music again, and discover what he wants to gain out of life.

Oumae Kumiko and her peers have just won gold at the Kyoto Competition and are now one step closer to entering the nationals. There is just one thing - or rather one person, who cannot escape from Kumiko's mind.
