This is an excerpt from my first novel, "Medousa;" a retelling of the myth of Medousa from her own point of view. It covers almost the entirety of her life from childhood as a slave in Sparta, to her death at the hands of Perseus. In this portion, Medousa rescues a group of Amazon children from a Hittite exploratory force that had invaded the territory of Themiscyra.

Medusa, cursed by the goddess Athena to turn those who see her into stone. Residing with her sisters in the caves of her island. Ione, a blind sea-nymph banished from her home when found conspiring against Poseidon. One unable to see, one unable to be seen. When fate collides the two and their lives together, mysteries arise and secrets become discovered.

Quetzalcoatl, in true snake comradery, has become the new resident big sister of Medusa. However, when Medusa's other 2 (much less nice) big sisters come into the mix, she cannot stand by and let things continue as they are.

This is a fan-fiction story of the famous Medusa from the Fate series. Takashina Ayato finds himself in the Shapeless Isle where the famous Gorgon Sisters from the Greek Mythology. In this story, Ayato is a human that does not belong to such a time period. Based on his knowledge, He knows how Medusa ends up in her famous legend, for becoming the monster, Gorgon. So this story would be about how his actions will lead to Medusa and her sisters' destiny as predestined. Ayato decides to "change" their predestined fate. Not to mention Ayato himself ends up having a crush on Medusa! But can he do it? Will it work? Have you ever tried playing the mobile game from Type-Moon Fate: Grand Order? If you haven't, do try it! This story will be easily understood by fellow Fate fans and those who have played the game. The game is available for both iOS and Android!
