Eurydice, the daughter of the wealthy Hades and Persephone, has always known standards: all A's, looking clean, and even boyfriends. When she falls in love with a worker named Jace, her parents disapprove. Neither Eurydice nor Jace understand what is wrong. Jace is a hardworking, handsome lad. They devise a plan... While Jace leaves for a business trip, they "breakup." Updates still coming!

Based on ancient mythology, mostly of Greek/Roman origin. First one was originally a Bengali poem of mine, written in my late teens, about Orpheus and his lady love Eurydice. Not necessarily I'll follow the original myth. Deviate and improvise, modern take or even twisted version, all of them you can expect here.

This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places, businesses, events, and incidents are either from the author's imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to an actual person, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. About the story: Eurydice Leticia Abreo is a 1st-year Architecture student at Batangas State University-Alangilan. She loves the silence and living independently, not until she discovered that she is suffering from a sleep disorder. Eury is determined to continue living alone despite her condition so she spends most of her time outside to reduce the risk of falling asleep, where she will bump into Alexander Villalobos, a 3rd-year Dentistry student at Lyceum Polytechnic University-Batangas who loves music and beer.

Deep in the recesses of the Underworld, Eurydice, muse and lover of great poet Orpheus, bears a daughter who wields the likeness of her father's gifts. In an act of pity, the queen of the underworld, Persephone, calls upon her brother Hephaestus to grant the young girl access to the living world under the condition that she become an apprentice to the goddess of vegetation herself.

A fourteen year old Orpheus serenades his Eurydice in a gallant attempt to save her from middle school hell: health class. Funny retelling of the ancient myth. I wrote this for a creative writing class at uni, and thought it might be a good complement to my full length story about a terrorist boybander.
