With Troy burning behind her, she begs a Greek soldier for passage home to Sparta. Instead, she finds herself aboard a ship bound for Ithaca, surrounded by the very men she once feared. Among them is Polites. Gentle, warm-hearted, and impossibly kind in a world consumed by war, Polites becomes an unexpected comfort to Y/N and a loving presence in her baby's life. What begins as a journey home slowly becomes something neither of them anticipated. But the war is not over. And when Y/N finally finds a place that feels like home, she must face the possibility that she may have found it somewhere she never intended to stay.

This story follows the perspective of Polites after he's dead and somehow able to spectate. Polites can do nothing but watch his best friend suffer. Warning: Death, gore described, blood. Self deprecation. If you are sensitive to these then read with caution or don't read at all.

To put it simply, what if Odysseus' and Ctimene's reunion was like Zuko's and Iroh's? Odysseus thinks his sister is going to hate him, but Ctimene is relieved to at least have her brother; she would rather have him than no one. (+Some of the gods reaction) This is what I NEED their reunion to be like!

I am absolutely obsessed with Epic: the musical & it's about time I go back to my angsty roots. What better fandom but the one where only 1 dude makes it back alive? Unless someone, or something, decided to change their fates... Polites died in the cave at the hands of Polyphemus, and he's been restless ever since. One day, he sees his troop marching through the underworld, and on instinct, he falls in line, following them onto the ship.

What if instead of getting vaporized when Zeus Struck Eurylochus with lightning. He is transported to the magical land of Xadia where he ends up becoming the babysitter to three certain kids and later a baby dragon

Fonetic translation: Hē Ktiménēs historía Meaning: The story of Ctimene Just an idea I had a month ago and started writing the next day :) In summary, Ctimene (Odysseus's younger sister, and (most likely) wife of Eurylochus), sets off on her own journey right after her brother's return and the discovery of her husband's death. Her goal is to bring him back from the Underworld, Orpheus style, but, y'know :) Trauma :) The idea was born thanks to Epic: The Musical, but I'm trying to stay closer to the actual Odyssey instead Also, in case you don't know me, I'm absolutely not a serious person. Well, this story takes some of our characters through that story of pain and betrayal and love. What will they do once they know what the future could hold for them?
