Short summary: Buck and Eddie find out they have feelings for each other, but they don't exactly know how everything will play out. I had a dream a couple of weeks ago, and it scared the crap out of me and I guess that's what made me write this? I don't know, honestly. I'm glad I did write this though. He glanced down once again at the package he'd sheepishly accepted from the delivery driver that morning like it was a live bomb, face already a little warm. At least Eddie would laugh at him if he made a fool of himself and he could backpedal. Or so he hoped.

There, in the middle of the living room, bathed in the soft afternoon light, stood Buck. Not the Buck he knew - the adrenaline junkie, firefighting Buck obviously, the one who tackled buildings and climbed ladders with a reckless grin. This Buck was... different.

The realization hit him with the force of a tidal wave, yet it also felt incredibly obvious, like a truth he'd been unknowingly carrying for years, finally bubbling to the surface. He was... he was in love with Eddie.
