Everyone forgets bucks birthday(which I've decided is during lawsuit era for some added angst) and treats buck horribly the entire day and he tries to hold himself together and make it to the end of shift without breaking down but life has other plans for him when he wakes up the next morning only for it to be his birthday... again? He gave a thumbs up to Buck who was still in the building and relief washed over him in a dizzying wave as he looked away momentarily. Another successful rescue. That's when he felt it. A hot, sticky sensation blooming on his side. He looked down. His hand came away crimson.

I had a dream a couple of weeks ago, and it scared the crap out of me and I guess that's what made me write this? I don't know, honestly. I'm glad I did write this though. Summary: Just my imagination. (P.S. My imagination is kind of wacky, keep that in mind as you're reading).
