The Tommy storyline was originally meant for Eddie you say? Here is how that could have gone. And yes, I managed to make it all about Buddie. Disclaimer, I am aware Eddie's coming out would take a whole lot more work than this, hence it being a one-shot and not a whole story :)

Eddie is struggling with his mental health and Buck tries to help him through it.

There are multiple times that Eddie Diaz and Evan Buckley could have confessed their love for each other, or at least let themself feel something more for one another. What would happen if they said just a little more? Buddie Fic based on "Guilty As Sin?" by Taylor Swift. Evan Buckley is spending a lot of time worrying about why his best friend has been avoiding him since he came out to him. Eddie Diaz has spent a lot of time dreaming about Evan Buckley since he came out, and he has to do his best to not let him know. How many people will find out about Eddies feelings before Buck does? How will Buck react when he finds out? Eddie wonders if it will ever become something, or if it's bound to stay only in his mind.

Buck and Eddie have decided to take things slow. The first time Buck invites Eddie in, he rips his shirt open, and it sends him right back to the day of the shooting. (One Shot)

But who the hell was this new Alpha in his territory? His packs territory? "Who the hell is that?" Buck asked tersely and Bobby chuckled. "Eddie Diaz, new recruit. Snatched him up before anyone else could. Two tours in Afghanistan, silver star recipient, top of his class in the academy," he replied and Buck frowned, feeling a defensive hum under his skin. ~~~~~~~ Buck had searched his whole life for a pack who wanted him, Omega and everything. Turns out, the new Alpha smelling of war might be the answer to that.

"Mayday, mayday, helicopter 3 Alpha 4 0 Charlie is experiencing a malfuction. We're going down over highway 20," he said quickly, Eddie taking a deep breath before trying to help steady the copter and not crash too severely. "This is your fault, I hope you know. If you say a word to Evan, I'll tell him you're in love with him," Tommy hissed, pulling hard on the wheel. Eddie tossed him a harsh glare, making sure his belt was secured and preparing for the crash. "I don't give a fuck, you tell him whatever you want. I'm not letting you cheat on my best friend," he snapped, his hand tightening on the handle. Or, Tommy was taking Eddie on "dates" while dating Buck, and Eddie didn't know until they were 5000 meters in the air in a helicopter. He's not about to betray his best friend like that.

Eddie reads through Buck's journal and finds his name on every page. (One Shot)
