This is a post-War Storm fan fiction. It is in the perspective of Mare, Cal and Evangeline and shows what happens after Norta falls and becomes the Nortan States. Will there be more war? Will Mare and Cal stay together this time? Will Evangeline and Elane get married? This fanfic should answer those questions. (It's not cannon, though. Duh)

The war against Maven has been won, and now it is time for Cal to become king of Norta. Afraid of what his mother could turn him into, Maven looks for the only person who can save him. Mare's lost after Maven's betrayal. Even through Cal is with her, Mare's mind constantly drifts to the boy king. She longs for the boy she loved, but she won't turn her back on her people. Set after Red Queen. Mare Barrow didn't expect to be on a plane to Archeon two months after she left Cal to go to Montfort She also didn't expect to be pregnant with his child. But here she is. When Sara Skonos surprises her with the news, it's an understatement to say she was shocked. So with her new friends, Elane Haven and Evangeline Samos, she heads to Archeon to tell Cal the news. One problem though. When she told him not to wait for her, he took that seriously and now has a girlfriend. Will Cal and Mare end up together? Or will Mare go home with her child and no Cal?
