This event was called the 2nd Impact In the present day, monsters known as Angels terrorize humanity by trying to cause the 3rd impact. With normal weapons from bullets to nuclear weapons not affecting them, a company known as Smart Brain takes it upon themselves to create the weapon to defeat the Angels. Shinji, Akane and Auska are taken out of retirement to pilot the next generation of Eva's Eva Unit 1.11 and Eva 2.22, Akane must pilot the next generation of mechagodzilla They must team up with Godzilla to stop Void Ghidorah if they fail, Humanity and all life on earth will be destroyed

Shinji ikari was stranded in a world away from his trusted friends and companions, for the second time, now he needs to find a way to return to the family who accepted him, before his past with the evangelions comes back to haunt him as he believes it will

In the original timeline of evangelion, just in Shinjis dreams. This takes place in episode 26 of the original anime. A therapy group Evangelion AU, includes alot of Kawoshin (lol) but also develops the other friendships in eva.
