Evan has always felt like no one was there for him most of his life. Evan hasn't had any friends and feels lonely most of the time and his anxiety doesn't help him with those feelings. Evan works at the Orchard during the summer. Connor recently survived a failed suicide attempt, so the Murphy's go to the Orchard in an attempt to sort their family out. After a fight with Larry, Connor walks away from their picnic and crosses paths with Evan Hansen. Can the two broken boys save each other? Or are they too far gone?

Alex and Connor became friends in time out when in 2nd grade. By senior year, Alex was in jazz band and had a 3.9 GPA. Connor Murphy is basically a prostitute. He left home at seventeen and realised the easiest way to make a living was by selling his body, which takes a big toll on his mental health. He reaches the point where he feels as though life is pointless. Evan Hansen is a typical college student. He deals with medically diagnosed anxiety and mild depression on top of college classes and his outgoing roommate and best friend, Jared Kleinman. Trigger warnings: sexual, physical, verbal, and emotional abuse, smut, probably homophobic slurs at some point, sporadic cursing, mental illness, thoughts of suicide and self deprecation, and probably a few more I can't think of Slow-ish updates
