Yet, when he comes home, for his monthly check-up with Halt, he finds something that changes everything. Yes, you're allowed to hate this, and me, because I know it sucks, and I know I have no heart, and I know I can't get the characters right. All the characters and places belong to John Flanagan, the amazing writer of several amazing series, and if I make something or someone up, I'll let you know. Oh, btw, as the title says, this is AU, and also, spoilers for the whole RA series because right now I can't think of the exact books... Just go read the series, Will (xD) ya? Also I think there aren't spoilers for book 12.. but I'm not promising anything, read at your own risk if you haven't finished the series.

The Ranger Corps, a highly well known archery/boot camp had been set up by hardcore fans of the Rangers Apprentice series in real life. But you need more than the love of the Rangers Apprentice series to get in. This organisation is also a group of detectives, or in other words a special force that helps to investigate mysteries and cases with the police. But not even the ordinary police officers know their identity, for only the highest level of authority can call on them. So to disguise their real reason as the Ranger Corps, the Corps hold several archery camps each year. During these archery camps, the people who've come are secretly assessed and tested to see if they can qualify for been a Ranger, if they are willing to do so. Follow Alex on her adventures and missions as a apprentice Ranger and Ranger. What are you waiting for? This story is made up, I do not own any of the Rangers apprentice references, or Rangers apprentice characters. But I own this story and my OCs.

A couple of ideas I turn into one-shots. Alyss isn't dead in any of them unless I specifically say so. Please read, comment and vote. Thanks for reading! Fanfiction of John Flanagan's Ranger's Apprentice series. Enjoy!

~This story is obviously a Ranger's Apprentice fanfic. It takes place before book eleven. (There are also a few relationship changes; Cassandra and Horace are in love, but aren't married. Also, Jenny and Gilan are not together.) When the special task force of Halt, Will, and Horace are on a mission to Skandia with the Crown Princess Cassandra, (a.k.a. Evanlyn) to renew the treaty between Skandia and Araluen, they are ambushed on the way back by pirates, and Cassandra is taken prisoner. The Skandians are completely unprepared for another group of raiders both skilled in fighting and sailing, that have ships even larger than the Skandian's wolfships. The pirates' nationality is unheard of by both Skandia and Araluen, so a quest is sent out to not only rescue Cassandra, but also discover more about the strange men and their country. Along the way, everyone's favorite heroes, Will, Halt, and Horace, team up with old faces, like the Heron brotherband and Emperor Shigeru, and they also meet new characters, both friend and foe.

It was such a beautiful, enchanting night, the night when Percy and a few others find themselves stuck in a world of swordfights and medieval ladies and gents. With the aid of experienced apprentice ranger Will, his mentor Halt, the diplomatic Alyss, knight Horace, and the tomboyish princess Evanlyn can they succeed in finding away back? Or will they be doomed to stay in this world until death claim them?

What happens when Halt wakes up in an unknown place, where does he go? who is going to help him? but most importantly, Where is Will? characters belong to John Flanagan or J. R. R. Tolkien, if there are my own characters I'll let everyone know. The cover is from @Crazy_101_.
