Her mother, Lily Potter, was married but Marlene's biological dad isn't James Potter. Nobody but Lily and James knows who the biological dad is, but they are both dead now. Marlene lived two years with Marlene Mckinnon, because when James found out that Rose is daughter of that man, he didn't want her. It was Lily's close friend, probably closest. She was always called Rose but after Marlene was killed, everybody started calling her Marlene for respect towards Marlene. From that on, she lived in orphanage, then she got her letter to school for wizards and witches. And now we are here. The mystery of who is her father still unsolved, or not?
