Eve Lyme goes on with life only with her father, Nikolas. But when her solo parent is not at home, she becomes a bit worried. She seeks out help from her small town and friends to find her father. Eve still wonders where he went off to, and even considers the point that someone took him after hearing rumors. Those rumors were of a man who has been abducting people of all ages in her area, first a parent, then the child. She clings on to pure hope and searches desperately, taking life-threatening risks along the way.
