Isak did not want to go to that concert. He wasn't a fan. In fact, he had never even heard about the whole goddamn band. But when his friends force him to go with them, he soon realises it might have been the best thing that has ever happened to him because he meets a handsome, interesting guy called Even.

This story is about Isak Valtersen, who is a second year at the Hartvig Nissen Skole. He struggles with a lot of problems, including self-harm and suicidal thoughts. He feels like everything around him is fake and he feels trapped, like in a non-existent world. In order to hold on to reality, Isak cuts himself on a daily basis - always afraid that he's just an illusion that will disappear if he doesn't cut. To get a break from everything, Isak goes to a coffee shop once a week. He usually drinks a Cappuccino there and then leaves. But one day, a new barista delivers him his coffee. And said barista catches Isak's attention. Will Isak ever talk to that new barista? You will have to find that out for yourself! A story about 17-years-old Isak Valtersen who goes to a summer camp, to one where he has been going for a few years now. Little did he know that this year was going to change his whole life as in there's a new, very attractive supervisor who turns Isak's world upside down. (a sequel called "The Boy Who Couldn't Hold His Breath Underwater 2" is up now!)

A follow up on my first book! (Where Isak met Even) I suggest you read the first one before starting this one. Everything will make more sense that way:)
