This is a short story about two friends venturing out to watch a meteor shower in hopes to see some cosmic action, and what was a little bit boring at first turned out to be more exciting when they used their imaginations.

A short Aragorn and Arwen romance

A child, mortally injured and brought to Rivendell, is raised by Arwen in the home of Lord Elrond. From the very start, no one could have predicted the free-spirited mischief she would grow to aspire to. No one-save for Legolas, the ethereal Prince of Mirkwood. Slow-burn, eventual Legolas/OC.

Aragorn is weary. He has spent many of the past years journeying to distant lands fighting the enemies of Sauron. He is 49 years old, but is more mature than many men when they reach their death. Standing at the edge of Lothlorien, he decides to enter, even if it only be to rest for one night within the safety of its woods. Unsurprisingly, the Lady Galadriel is expecting him, and welcomes him in. While he is there, Aragorn reconnects with the one person who he has been trying to forget these past 29 years. Will feelings have changed?

You know the story from every person. You've followed the path of what you believed to be everyone. But never have you been told the story of the dragons. She wasn't your average dragon. And she wasn't your average girl. Both of them had wild hearts, full of longing, waiting for something... Together, there's no stopping them. It's almost as if the dragon is the girl's equal. We have Tolkien's appendices that tell us much of what happened after the coronation of Aragorn, and his marriage to Arwen, but for the romantic at heart, he leaves much to be desired. This is the story of King Elessar II and Arwen Undomiel after the crownless has become king. As I have continued to write this, I found that I also wanted to focus on a more in-depth look at life after the fall of Sauron. After the ring is destroyed things are wrapped up quickly in a rather un-Tolkien style. I wanted to change that.

[UNEDITED] Arwen Undomiel, the Evenstar of her people. Have you ever wondered how her name came to be? Arwen is a young princess, full of hope and joy. She loves taking walks in the beautiful gardens of Imladris and diving her nose into the vast library. But when a stranger comes to visit Rivendell, her curiosity is peaked. This stranger is unlike any elf she has ever met. Aragorn is a ranger of the Dúnadan coming back to visits his adoptive father, Lord Elrond. He has seen much in his lifetime and is ready for some peace at the Last Homely House. But meeting Arwen brings about a completely new adventure that he never expected. What will come of this unlikely friendship? NOTICE: I do not claim ownership for any of J.R.R. Tolkien' characters. They belong to him only!

An extremely short fanfic that portrays the betrothal and promises that Aragorn and Arwen made to each other when they met, un-looked-for, under the trees of Lothlórien, and upon the hill of Cerin Amroth. This merely expands on the briefly described scenes in the appendix of the Lord of the Rings. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters/locations. Or even the plot, really, since I'm mainly just building off of Tolkien's original works. Also quick note: This story was partly inspired by a friend, @i_a_karreya, as she is positively obsessed with Arwen a lot of the time. (alright, to be fair, I am also quite obsessed with Aragorn...but still)
