I think it's time those questions were answered. Katniss Everdeen has found herself in a situation that is a danger to her and the ones she loves. Ever since she pulled out those berries, President Snow has been a looming threat. When the Quarter Quell announces that she will be forced to repeat the Hunger Games again, she finds comfort in the arms of her star crossed lover, the boy she's turned away from, the boy she's grown to love. But when she finds herself pregnant, Katniss can only wonder how she can get both Peeta and their child out alive, Even if it means her own life.

Katniss has been confined to District 12 after the war, and is more depressed than ever. When she finds out that she has a chance to go back in time and fix the things that have broken her heart, she has to take it. She has one shot to get it right. Will she change history forever? Hello to everyone who has read this story, or is just discovering it. I published/wrote the entirety of it in only six months, (originally released on AO3 & ff.net) but I wanted to make it the best that it could be, so I underwent a huge editing process. It's now finished! Nothing has changed majorly, mostly grammatical fixes and adding more detail, making it almost 5000 words longer. Katniss Everdeen is know as the bad girl at Panem high. Her boyfriend is Gale Hawthorne. In her group of friends is Annie, Clove, Glimmer, Johanna, Cato, Marvel, Finnick, and Gale. At the start of sophomore year, the president of Panem, President Snow announces that because of the behavior at high schools there will be a patent know as the Hunger Games where 24 kids 1 girl and 1 boy from each of the 12 high schools in Panem, between the ages of 12-18 fight to the death in an arena. What happens when the new kid Peeta Mellark gets chosen for the games? Will Katniss finally realize her true feelings for Peeta? Or will she stick with Gale?

After the rebellion things changed. The peace came and Peeta and Katniss grew back together. They had two beautiful children and must now handel the challenges of being parents. But, what happens if things get back to what they were? Will the nightmare come true? ( I do not own any of the Hunger Games characters! All rights to Suzanne Collins! )

While Katniss was torn in her heart, hardened by tragedy and hardship, Peeta Mellark had no doubt in his mind whom he loved. When most people saw a scowling, stubborn girl who could shoot a bow and arrow, glowing in the spotlight the Captiol forced on her, he saw a hurting girl whose beauty arose from the ashes of loss and pain. Survival isn't the point this time. Katniss is all that matters now. Peeta had said all the necessary good-byes, letting the few people left he loved out of his heart and locking the door behind them. If he dies and she lives, how can that be anything but good?

After Mockingjay, pre epilogue. Katniss and Peeta's relationship is growing stronger each day. When a drunk Haymitch suggests marriage and even children, it gets them both thinking about taking the next step in their relationship. All credit to the amazing Suzanne Collins! I also did not make any of the artworks used for the chapter covers!

CURRENTLY REVAMPING EARLIER CHAPTERS COMPLETELY - UPDATES STILL ONGOING That what I need to survive is not Gale's fire, kindled with rage and hatred. I have plenty of fire myself. What I need is the dandelion in the spring. The bright yellow that means rebirth instead of destruction. The promise that life can go on, no matter how bad our losses. That it can be good again. And only Peeta can give me that. So after, when he whispers, "You love me. Real or not real?" I tell him, "Real."

But a twisted fate leaves it up to them to solve, and this time they'll be depending on their friends for support.
