Katniss Everdeen a 15 year old girl goes to panem high. She minds her own business and doesn't get in the way. But soon her hole life will change with just one decision, to lose weight. Peeta Mellark also and 15 year old boy and goes to panem high. He's been watching and admiring Katniss sense forth grade. When she gets sick he regrets not talking to her before. When Katniss Everdeen returns home from the Capitol after the rebellion she finds that coping and grieving is very difficult, and with nobody to help her she is in danger wasting away alone. When Peeta returns home Katniss realizes that for both herself and Peeta she needs to work on recovering and look towards the future rather than the past. As they help each other mourn their losses and recover lost memories, they find that what they needed all along was each other. As the weeks, months, and eventually years go on they find that what they really need is each other. All characters and concepts related to the Hunger Games Trilogy belong to Suzanne Collins.
