Eliza Fischer was one of Britain's best selling female artists of the late 1950s. Sold out tours, number one albums, it seemed like nothing could possibly slow her down. But, after suffering an almost fatal drug overdose, Eliza's career suddenly came to a halt, leaving her with nothing but regret. However, with the help of her loyal manager, Eliza gets back on her feet and into the recording studio again. She continues rebuilding herself until a call comes in from Cadence Records offering her a place as a support act for the legendary Everly Brothers on their upcoming UK tour. This could be her last chance to right the wrongs, to get her name back on the map for good, but will Eliza be able to focus on what she came for when she begins to fall for a certain sandy-haired Everly Brother, whilst getting lost in a complicated love triangle in the process? FOREWORD This book is greatly inspired by one of my childhood fantasies Jess De Silva from the Mediator Series of Meg Cabot. Then another empowered female writer came in the picture, VE Schwab, who fed my fondness of paranormals with her Archived Series and City of Ghosts, which actually has the same near death experience as my character. I started this one a decade ago but life happens and I have to put this down for so long until this pandemic. Time was sufficient thus I turn to my hobbies to make the most of the gift of time. One of them is writing. Originally, this was just for me. To test my capabilities, to put my mind into writing, but then in the course of penning this, I decided to share this with you, to those who would rather live in their own fictional worlds. Afterall, we are all in-betweens bounded by our fears of not being enough or not doing enough. May this remind you of the power of trying and that you do not have to be enough for others. You just have to be enough for yourself. Also, may we all be embolden by our real life worlds, though tiring and crazy, to build our own. Cliché, but fictions are created to make our reality bearable. For those who still think that they are stuck, sharing this escape with you. - Taraa Muñoz

The world shook the day the music died, and the face of rock 'n' roll hasn't been the same ever since. Even in 1968, Paul McCartney still couldn't quite imagine the full magnitude of the tragedy - how could Buddy Holly, so full of life and with so much more music left to make, be gone, just like that? Plenty had changed since 1959. Paul was no longer a longing teenager, but a wildly successful member of the Beatles. One night, as he was struggling to work on new material, Paul was reminded of just how much the Beatles owed to the bright young Texan boy, with his famous glasses and Stratocaster, whose life was taken far too soon. If only he could have told Buddy, his hero, how much he had done for him. Suddenly, Paul awakens to find himself in 1958, still the same full-grown man he was ten years later. He comes face-to-face with Buddy himself and all of his other heroes. As he gets to know them all, he must reevaluate himself and what he thought he knew. But, when the opportunity presents itself, Paul begins to wonder... Could he stop Buddy from getting on that plane? *Also featuring the Everly Brothers, the Big Bopper, and others!*

*Changed title because I am writing a similar story with the same title under a different account under @caitwarren 'Spiritul Liber' is the Romanian translation for 'The Free Spirit', which is the title of these memoirs that I, Catherine Cromwell, have written for my own life as well as my stubborn husband, who refuses to write his own. Who is that man, you may ask? His name is Don Everly, and you might know him as one half of the Everly Brothers. In this book, you will learn the true story about my origins as well as the story of the family I made for myself, during one of the most revolutionary times in history. And my husband just happened to be Don Everly of the Everly Brothers. Our lives together had moments of joy, love, sadness, heartbreak and more, and this is my story. *The 'famous' characters by the names of Catherine Cromwell, as well as her family, Ginger McAllistor, Elton Macfadyen, Murphy MacPhearson, Eccleston Smith, Charlie Williams and James Knight are FICTIONAL. The story of Catherine Cromwell is also FICTIONAL. NO PART OF THIS IS REAL, except for a few named events in name only.* **I took creative liberty and crossed it over a tiny bit with the BBC show, Call the Midwife, because how PERFECT is that?**
