Two years have past since the war and Katniss' life is still in ruins. With the realisation of having fake feelings towards Peeta she's missed Gale more than ever. After Gale makes a surprise return to District 12 he's whisked away, by none other than the Capitol. Is there enough time to save him, as well as her friends? Aurelian lives in a world divided by districts. The Hunger Games is a common threat for anyone and everyone. Life is bad for everyone expect for the Capitol citizens. District 13 and 12 were destroyed a long time ago.

After the rebellion Katniss had no reason to pretend to love Peeta anymore. She left him to be with the boy she really loved, Gale. Will there life go back to normal, or is it too good to be true?

This story is the direct epilogue to "Uncovered Passions," but it's ultimately my dream ending for Katniss and Gale, and it's how I envision their future to any story where they end up together. So you don't have to read UP to follow this. All you really need to know is that Katniss and Gale got lost in the woods where the fell in love and conceived a child, and eventually came out and helped lead the rebellion to victory. Their son was born the day the Rebellion ended. His name is Reed Milo Hawthorne, and our story is picking up three and a half years after he was born.

Please have read the first hunger games prior to reading this! It's a story following Gales point of view as Katniss is In the games. When Peeta dies, Gale has no one in the way of true love. Yes, this has a happy ending, don't worry.

After killing President Coin , meeting is held by the contemporaty government of Paneam on whether to continue the conviction of the adapted version of the hunger games in which Snows' grand daughter will be a tribute. This throws the girl on fire into a dilemma. So will there be a new beginning to the symbolic Hunger games or will there be peace? P.S.- Snow is not dead

Katniss loved Peeta. She would never doubt that.
