Miku Hatsune's father is an unemployed man who enjoys target practice. Her childhood friend, Kaito Shion, is always mooching on her parent's equipment, and her life isn't any better with two baseball-loving blond brats always showing up uninvited for dinner. Her home is an old, dank place, and her life is slowly crumbling. Could it get any worse? Maybe, just maybe. A dark wooden sign stood leaning in the cold dark earth of this odd yet familiar place, it was a terrifying feeling of nostalgia and scrawled onto that sign were three words. HERE LIES WESTVILLE Terror clung to the barren earth surrounding this sign but it was clear to tell this had been a town. One of memories, tormentful and yet peaceful. Solemn clouds hung over the muddied dirt and rubble casting shadows as the night swallowed the day. Maybe someday the legends that surrounded this abandoned land would begin to fade and the tragedy of everything that occurred there would be lost to time. Long ago in the land of Aurious, beings of magic and humans lived together in harmony. Drawing power from the avra (life force) of plants and animals, they created beautiful cities and all were happy. Then, the first Osindious was born. A mix of magic users and humans, the child was born with a dark side. At first, they could control it, and they drew power from it, But one day, they lost control, and the darkness consumed them. Their dark side caused major death and destruction, till they were finally killed. Eventually the land recovered, but it would never be the same. Now, skip forward hundreds of years,all Osindious are killed on sight, and magic users are oppressed and mistrusted. Now, finally, an Osindious has survived, now, the world holds its breath, and waits for the destruction to follow. (Under editing.)
