What would happen if Hawkmoth was defeated and killed? Adrien is confused and depressed, having been the one to have ended Hawkmoth before he knew the identity of him. He has no where to turn to, no one to confide in. And having to turn in his miraculous made him angry, why should he give it back? Darkness is starting to overtake him, and his only relief? Spending time with shy, clumsy Marinette Dupain-Cheng, who has already returned the ladybug miraculous.

Marinette was the Cat's princess and lady, but he turned on her along with the rest of the class, and now he's gone along with Hawkmoth. The girl she was is gone too, and now she's going to search for a new cat in Gotham. One that won't think they're her soulmate, because a cat and a ladybug are never meant to be. But searching for someone like that is hard when you're frozen, and who else to melt her heart then the Ice Prince? What will happen when the Ice Queen joins Gotham Academy?
