Note: In this story the tree of life does not exist so rani lives in the pride lands.

Kion is sick and tired of having Vitani chosen over him to be the new Guard leader and actually protecting the Pride Lands, when her father started all of the chaos. He wants his position back - and the throne with it - and he'll do anything to take back his destiny.

One normal day patrolling the Pridelands Kion catches a glimpse of something he never thought he'd see. Keeping silent about it, he waits until night and sneaks out to check out what he saw. And of course comes face to face with someone who should have been dead long ago, before he was born. So what happens when this certain dead relative of his gives him a proposition he may or may not refuse?

kion joined the outsiders after being neglected by his father. He is no longer the fun caring and kind cub we all love (excepsily the author (me) ) he is now dark and cruel and becoming more evil everyday.
