A game has taken the world by storm; Avilien appeared from seemingly nowhere and is beginning to change the world, causing strange events to happen. Luke stumbles upon a peculiar talking cat who has a penchant for potatoes, informing him that the people of his world have become digitised through the use of augmented glasses. When the next Avilien update rolls around the people of the world are to be uploaded to the first-ever immersive virtual reality game. For Luke, an avid gamer, this seems like a perfect place for him to be.

Friendless and unremarkable, he couldn't be hidden better. But with less than three months to graduation, he was running out of time...
