With Soren's magic trapped inside her and the remaining pieces of his horn still scattered around the world, Celine is pulled into a centuries-old conflict between a corrupt scientific empire called the Argent Accord, and the once mythical beings they exploit. The Accord wants Velkeros blood for immortality, Soren wants to reclaim what they stole from him, and Celine just wants to make it out alive. Magic was never supposed to end up in Celine's hands, but the more she learns, the more she realizes that her and Soren's connection might be the key to saving everything. After many years, Dr. Neo Periwinkle Cortex is finally able to create his own army of mutants. But he has yet to realize that he will create his own worst enemy. (Any original characters belong to me, of course. I may create a list describing them in the future.)

So what happens when he adopts a child? -- Techcenah was a six-year-old girl whose parents died of mysterious circumstances. A scientist by the name of N. Gin, feeling sorry for the poor girl, decides to adopt her. He teaches her to follow in his sinister footsteps, but he would have never expected anything that occurs with her around. (This was requested by Kwaziiwolf28. The character Techcenah does NOT belong to me, but Natalie and the other OCs mentioned do. Unlike everything else that I have written, this will not contain ANY "not safe for work" scenes. As such, I am not marking this as "mature." The only thing I have to warn you about is the fact that there may or may not be some profanity here and there, but I'm not going overboard with it. Oh, and another thing to note: I am not adding a cover for this story at the moment. I might once I figure out what a good cover would be for this.)
