Riley is the bad girl in school. she just can't stop getting herself into trouble. she is always the life of every party. and never pays attention in school. she's never been in love since Jason who left her broken inside. he was her best friend and more .... but the night before he was leaving for England he crushed Riley's heart. that day she swore she would never love again. 2 years later Jason's back for senior year. how will Riley cope. will she ever love learn to love again or is it to late?

Read 1st chapter and you'll have a good idea at what my story will be about. This is my first attempt at writing a story ever excluding the ones I wrote at school for essays. Please keep that in mind before critizing my work. Hope you enjoy it.

My world came crashing down. I lost one of my best friends and someone I thought loved me. It's all my fault, and now I must pay the price. The price of living with heartache and lonelyness. I thought the world was evil, but then I realized I created this monster. Instead of using my powers for good, I used them to weave myself into other people's lives. I was a wedge between the door and the wall, only to see them both slam on me, until I was broken to pieces on the floor.

"excuse me?" I yelled at him now furious. this shocked him a little since I had rarely yelled at him once in the entire time I have known him "you think I wanted to move away? you don't think I begged my parents to stay? Because trust me I did! I ran home crying that night because of what you said to me and still do. Don't think I'm the monster here, that's you." I grabbed my backpack and ran out of the car, making sure to slam the door behind me as loud and hard as possible. ---- When Taylor's parents leave for a month-long business trip, they pay her ex-best friend to come live with her and watch over her. I rapidly blinked my eyes trying to keep my tears at bay and not let him see, how truly broken I was. The tough exterior I had put up for so long, the walls that I had built were slowly crumbling down allowing him to see the broken girl that lay behind those walls. A small tear escaped my eye and fell on his wrist. He pulled me into a hug and that's when all dam broke loose.
