"So you expect me to act like nothing happened Emma? Like you didn't leave?" I didn't say anything. I mean I couldn't. He was yelling at me. Why was he? I took a deep breath, trying to control myself. I tried to hold back my tears and keep a blank face and not let him see any emotions in my hazel eyes. I don't want to drag you or anyone in my fucked up life. I just don't want anyone I care about get hurt. I have had enough share of people getting hurt because of me." I said in a quiet voice with a lump forming in my throat. The tears were now stinging my eyes making my vision blurry. I rapidly blinked my eyes trying to keep my tears at bay and not let him see, how truly broken I was. The tough exterior I had put up for so long, the walls that I had built were slowly crumbling down allowing him to see the broken girl that lay behind those walls. A small tear escaped my eye and fell on his wrist. He pulled me into a hug and that's when all dam broke loose.
