The room was dark and slightly eerie, the sound of crickets filled the silence of the cold cabin. I looked around from the comfort of my sleeping bag, all of the girls were fast asleep except for me. The sound of my phone dinging echoed loudly around the small room. Not a stir was made from the sleeping girls and the breath that I was holding was released. Looking at my phone, a smile crept onto my face as I read the message. “Meet me outside the dining room hall.” “What time?” I waited impatiently for Paul to text me the time, my excitement increasing dramatically as I squirmed around my sleeping bag. “12:23.” Looking at the time on my phone, my heart jumped in my chest. I had 10 minutes to get ready for the time of my life.
