"An embryo is a life confined. A chicken is an embryo that dared to live." Every morning, Y/N wakes up in a room he doesn't recognise. Every morning, he crawls from a low-ceilinged purgatory into a house full of strangers who call him 'Son.' He is the world's most temporary orphan. He knows that by midnight, his memory will reset, the family will vanish, and he will be transplanted into a new life. It is a cycle of beautiful, agonizing futility. But Y//N is cursed with an intellect that notices everything-the dust on a dark oak drawer, the specific yellow of a sister's teeth, and the taste of the omelette served for breakfast. Today, it's an egg. Tomorrow, it's the chicken. As the patterns begin to bleed together, Y/N realises that while his presence in their lives is meaningless, the act of reaching out is the only thing that makes him real. In a world where nothing is forever, can a single day be enough? PS: I hope you enjoy!-Author I wrote this in one sitting, I don't know if I should continue it, please let me know! Thanks
