Remi was engaged once. She was engaged before she was even born, that's the trend between rich families nowadays. And she grew up learning to love her husband to be, as childhood friends, best friends, she was the cheerleader and he was the jock. At 24, she wasn't engaged anymore, cause apparently, freedom in love was a thing now, and her husband to be, a man she loved all her life, decided to love another, someone not her. When she retaliates against the woman who stole her man, she is cut off from her family, sent to manage a branch of their company somewhere far away from the happy couple, and she disappears. Three years later and she reappears in a way no one ever expected.
