In 2070, the humans of this planet have been made into robots when they turned 13. Valerie was a typical outcast at her junior high, and when she turned 13, her life changed forever. Seven years as a robot, is a very boring life to Valerie. She repeats a schedule that (to her) has no meaning at all. When she meets Ricky, she starts to feel strange things around him that she has never felt before. Warm, protected, outgoing, and even (slowly) love. But that's impossible, she is a robot, robots don't have any feelings. Or do they? As Valerie and Ricky's friendship grows stronger, Valerie starts to realize that she is becoming more of a human than a robot every time she spends time with Ricky.
