The author of this story wanted to show that in this journey of life, we often find answers struggling to understand God's plan for us. It may take time to unfold but eventually we realize that everything happens for a reason. God's plan for the leading couple of the story, took them through different paths, leading them to the religious life and then to the vocation of marriage. As the ex-nun of the story remarked , "Who would have known that the priest who introduced me to the Religious Life would one day become my husband thirteen years later".
