Dex, Sprite and Ponyboy are three brothers struggling to survive a zombie apocalypse. With their parents gone, their quarantine zone overrun, bandits around every corner, and only three backpacks, two knives and an axe, Dex tries to raise his two baby brothers all alone. When Dex kills a few members of a group called the Martial Law Republic, they begin to hunt the three brothers down. Their only safe haven comes in the form of a town of cannibals with their eyes on Sprite and Ponyboy. Will Dex risk he and his brothers' lives in the wild, hunted by the Martial Law Republic? Or will he spend every waking moment protecting his brothers from lecherous cannibals?

Now!" Eric swatted her away. Clarissa followed her.

What if the world turned upside down? Well, not literally, that would be a different story, but, you know what I mean. What if everything you though you knew, changed? What if, it ended? I mean the world, what if the world ended? Would you be scared, would you be brave? Would you poop your pants? Come on, be honest, would you? In Expiration Date, Carl is experiencing just that... no not pooping his pants, the end of the world. Can he survive? Will he find his family? What will he need to do to survive? Will he poop his pants? Well I guess you'll just have to read the book to find out.

I lost everything. My family. Home. Myself. Just because I could see numbers... that indicate people's death. I like to call them 'expiration dates.'
