This is my take on what happens if you choose the bad ending in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Gates to Infinity! It's really short, but I hope you guys enjoy it anyway. (The Pokémon franchise belongs to Nintendo, not me!)

The exciting tale of the events leading up to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2. In the distant future, hope is nonexistent. The sun doesn't rise, and the new day never comes, only darkness reigns over the land under the heavy rule of Primal Dialga. Two brave souls-a Treecko and a human named Sophia-join forces to fight the darkness and take back the future, even at the cost of their own lives.

I've always been a huge fan of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. A while ago, I decided to write a story about what the partner Pokemon did after the protagonist disappeared when they saved the planet from paralysis. What was his life like? What lengths would he go to bring her back? My hope is to bring some clarity to the grief and pain that he felt, and to portray the closeness of their relationship. I hope you enjoy it, and let me know what you think! *Note* At some points in the story, I do use the dialogue from the game. All credit for that goes to Game Freak and the writers of the game.
