It was a place. It was a time. A time when He was alive. A time when Ghost could still have parties and meet new people and get wasted by the river side. With Him. Ghost didn't want to let him go. He didn't want to forget him. He didn't want to give up on... Toast.

After months of boring cases and no action, the partners of P.I.E - Johnny Ghost and Toast - finally get a mysterious, exciting and enthralling investigation. However, there is one problem. Another paranormal investigator has to work alongside them. Not only that, but he is more professional, more compitant and far more British than Toast could ever be. Will the mystery be solved? Who knows. The question that really matters, though, would be "is Toast in danger of getting replaced?"

Johnny Ghost has always been a happy and cheerful person, who is always doing what his heart tells him without a single thought. Johnny Toast is the complete opposite of him, however. He always carefully thinks out his actions, doing what's expected of him rather than following what he wants. One day, these two complete opposites meet, and Ghost decides to befriend Toast. He drags Toast along on all of his adventures, getting the both of them in a lot of trouble and excitement, completely set on getting Toast to lighten up along the way. Will he succeed? What happens when along the way, the two get closer than they could have ever imagined? WARNING: this does in fact ship the two characters Johnny Ghost and Johnny Toast romantically, if you do not like this please simply don't open the book and move on. The cover is my own drawing that I did which is why it's complete shit so I apologize for that

I said I was going to rewrite it so here it is. I'm hoping that this one will be a bit better than the last one. Have you ever wondered what would happen if Johnny Ghost, Paranormal Investigator Extraordinaire, was separated from the world renowned murderer Jimmy Casket, who lives in his head? Ever wondered how they would react if such a thing were to happen? If they would get along? Fight? Or maybe Johnny would just run away but that's getting off topic. How would Johnny Toast react? Call the police? Kill Jimmy? Get killed by Jimmy? Run away with Ghost? Uh, ignore that last one. They totally wouldn't do that. oh also I made the cover. bad I know.

Winter was here. Fall had passed. Halloween, the time when P. I. E. Seemed to thrive the most, had passed. Christmas was here, and Johnny Toast and Johnny Ghost were invited to the Acachalla's home to celebrate. Ghost had obliged to go, since his best friend was being torn from his grip. He could no longer enjoy mornings with his best friend, who had come over for breakfast. He could no longer take vacations to the Bahamas, or Hawaii with his best friend. For all Johnny knew, this could be the last chance to spend some precious time with Toast. And the thing that was taking him away from Johnny? A girl. Thing.
