Humans are a rare breed. The only being in the universe with a daemon with an outward form of their homeplanets fauna. Phelan Bloodclaw. A man, perhaps not a human, has been building up his army of marauders from past destroyed planets on his way to The U.C. The U.C, or The Universal Capitol, governs all galaxies from Jupiter in the Milky Way galaxy. Seeing Phelan as a growing threat, they've built up an army to protect the government of the universe. One doctor with an airship dubbed 'The Spirit of the Dawn' has combined seven people, all with special abilities to contribute to their small team. They are the only ones standing in the way of a full out war, dwarfing all other wars of the past. Planets and lives would be destroyed. Can The Spirit of the Dawn stop The Red Talons before the universal war begins?
Notes:
The main character is Danniella Helein, a human orphan with a rat daemon. This is set in an alternate universe, with airships, pirates, and traitory. Humans have daemons, souls that have a physical form, that look like animals from earth. Usually the personality will have something to do with what animal it will be when their form settles (Children's can change forms of animals, but when they hit puberty, they settle to one). Aliens have daemons to, except for shape shifters. Aliens have daemons that can possess a single object, such as a pocketwatch or a peice of furniture. The aliens have the ability to partially control the possesed animal, and sometimes the item can be switched; but it isn't done often since it's so dangerous and very difficult.
If you've ever seen Disney's Treasure Planet, it's basically that type of setting. Titan A.E is also a good comparative.
I hope to make this a series of books, and publish it. If you want to help me write, contact me. I could always use good ideas.
