After moving schools, she encounters the Woods brothers, Liu and Jeffrey, the richest kids at Forrest Lake High School. She befriends Liu, a brown-haired boy who's a grade older and the popular one of the two. Jeffrey, the bullied emo kid, begins catching Y/N's eyes, and she begins pitying him when she runs into him being bullied after class. After seeing him get beat up the day before Winter Break, she stands up to the bullies, and begins to befriend Jeffrey. Liu begins to stray away from her and eventually, after not seeing much of Liu, he disappears, along with their parents. Then does Jeffrey. After a few years, Y/N moves past her friendships with Liu and Jeffrey, and graduates high school, about to begin college. People start randomly disappearing and while driving back to her hometown, she runs into someone unexpected after her car breaks down in the middle of the night. And she's resorted to walking until she finds signs of human life. She meets the eyes of the person slowly walking towards her. After living there for some time Kora starts to hear whispering coming from the woods. Soon the whispers get louder and she needs to do something about it; this chain of events lead to her discover all sorts of anomalies and uncovering dark secrets that lie beyond the trees. 'What is Beyond the Whispering Woods' tells this tale through the pages of Kora's journal. Some of the already existing creepy pastas will be introduced slowly into the story as well as creatures loosely based on already existing mythological creatures slightly changed to become something new.

One of my legs was crossed over the other, my head resting in my palm as my elbow dug into the table. It was cold, chills slowly running up my arm as I held back a shiver. I felt absolutely wrecked, And I hadn't even had any alcohol yet. My head was pounding, I felt like my mascara should be running down my face, my cheeks sticky from tears.
